Private Secretary’s Office
Buckingham Palace, London SW1A 1AA, United Kingdom
Dear Royal Communications Team,
My name is Adele Chapin and I'm writing in regards to the Digital Engagement position listed on the British Monarchy's website — the one that pays up to £50,000 a year for a 37.5-hour workweek that involves uploading Prince George and Princess Charlotte photos to Instagram.
I'm so in, and not just for the free lunches or 33 days of vacation. I'm willing to drop everything and move across the pond to steer The Queen and The Royal Household's social media presence.
Why should you hire me for this high-profile position? I have experience using a range of content management systems, social media platforms, and analytics tools. I also have a proven strategy to maximize likes and retweets. It involves daily Instagrams of Princess Charlotte and fluffy stuffed animals.
Also, has Prince George ever posed with Lupo the dog WHILE Prince George is wearing his tiny backpack? I feel that is an opportunity.
This was a great start, but could we also get Prince Harry and Prince William on the set of Suicide Squad or some superhero movie as well?
Please find my CV attached. Thank you for your consideration, and I look forward to hearing from you!
Best,
Adele Chapin
