Emily Ratajkowski Doesn’t Care About Your Party’s Dress Code

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Judging by the outfits at Glamour’s Game Changers lunch in Los Angeles yesterday, it's fairly obvious that the invite called for pretty, springy, preferably floral attire. Former Gossip Girl-er Tika Sumpter and How to Get Away With Murder’s Aja Naomi King twinned in lovely pink and red lace dresses. Jaime King went with purple pajama pants and a matching blouse with petal-like sleeves. Lea Michele chose a black and white floral number with a fluttery hem. Ellen Pompeo picked a pink botanical-print Gucci shirtdress. Even Zendaya, who always goes against the proverbial grain when it comes to what she wears, stayed on theme in a silver skirt and a crisp white shirt that framed her face like a lily.

And then there was Emily Ratajkowski, who showed up in…a black body-con dress. To a party filled with what can only be described as (famous) human flowers. Because hey, when you’re genetically blessed with a face and body like hers, you've got a free pass to dress for da club at all times.
