For Earth Day last year, eco-friendly LA-brand Reformation got transparent and rolled out its RefScale. The scale shows shoppers the environmental impact of each and every slinky dress and off-the-shoulder top in its inventory.
This year in honor of Earth Day, Reformation's adding a personalized RefScale to every customer account page. This way, you'll be able to chart your own environmental savings for every purchase, with a comparison between Reformation products and conventionally manufactured clothing.
This news will also soon pay off for loyal Reformation customers. The company plans on launching a perks program later this year based on customers’ individual RefScale savings.
A Reformation spokesperson didn't have any additional info to share at this time, other than that the retailer will introduce perks and benefits based on customers' water, CO2 and waste savings. But a press release promises "you’ll be handsomely rewarded for all the good you do for the environment."
See what it will look like below on your computer screen and mobile phone, and get ready for a new Earth Day-themed collection of "easy on the Earth" t-shirts.
