Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
It shouldn't be this way, but dads and brothers and boyfriends can be some of the hardest people to gift. Apparently, they're aware: "We've always been told we are notoriously difficult to shop for," says Christopher Danner, ceo of taylr.co, a new shopping site for guys and the people who occasionally shop for them.
Taylr launches with over 2,000 American-made products from more than 60 brands, spanning clothes and accessories, grooming goods, home wares, and more. "We first set out to create a marketplace that we wanted to shop for ourselves that included everything we like from around the web all in one place," says Danner. "But we quickly discovered that our most enthusiastic users were women shopping for the men in their lives." Check it out now, bookmark it, and when graduation season, Father's Day, or a birthday crop up, you'll know where to start.
