Bamboo earrings are the most recent trend re-emerging on the fashion scene this season. While statement earrings have become commonplace on high fashion runways, bamboos are making a comeback all on their own without the help of a designer endorsement.
The accessory was at its peak in the hip-hop and R&B communities of the ‘90s and early 2000's. And Salt-n-Pepa, Megan Goode, and Destiny's Child's Bootylicious video are just a few examples of how widespread the trend once was.
These earrings tend to be huge, making them the perfect addition to a more subdued, minimalist look this summer. You can rock them in lieu of the tired flower crown at a music festival, or style them with a striped off-the-shoulder top and mom jeans for everyday.
