As you surely know by now, Hedi Slimane's splashy, commercially successful time at Saint Laurent has come to a close, leaving a number of questions to be answered. For instance, who will replace him as creative director? What work will he take up next? And above all, what will become of the "grunge tiaras" he so ardently favored?

Friends, it's hard to say. The best we can do is send up a prayer that Kering's search team pays close attention to candidates' proclivity for regal casual headwear, which Slimane used to such great effect in the brand's spring 2016 runway show and ensuing campaign. That's not true. The best we can do is present you with a host of replacement tiaras from brands like Erickson Beamon and Party City, should Saint Laurent decide to discontinue this franchise.
