If there was a reason to switch from watching the Academy of Country Music Awards over to the iHeart Radio Music Awards, it's this: ZAYN (stylized thusly post-rebrand). In his first major performance since dropping his first solo album, Mind of Mine, as well as his first award show performance as a solo artist, Zayn belted out "Like I Would" underneath a cascade of lasers.

Wearing a black velvet blazer (with some very pointy shoulders), Zayn nailed the final super-high note on the song, one of the first few singles released after "Pillowtalk."

Though known for being many things — the Hot One, the Mysterious One — Zayn is perhaps best known recently as being the Fashion One. Not only does he (very publicly) date model Gigi Hadid, but he's also been using his style to differentiate himself even further. Lately, he's been seen wearing the uniform of the California cool guy: silk bomber jackets, sleek minimalist coats, and Billionaire Boys Club hoodies.
