Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

We thought no fridge could top the exquisite beauty that was Real Housewife Yolanda Hadid's clear refrigerator, but Dolce & Gabbana may have managed to pull it off. The designers teamed up with fellow Italian company Smeg — the company that makes the adorable fridges owned by your favorite home design bloggers — for special edition "Fab 28" Smeg refrigerators styled by Dolce & Gabbana.

Only 100 one-of-a-kind D&G x Smeg fridges have been produced, and each fridge features incredibly intricate images by Sicilian artists. The fridges are covered with floral motifs, lemons, medieval knights, and battle scenes. Even the top of each fridge is painted, so presumably the owners of the fridges won't store random half-empty cereal boxes there.

The first examples of this special refrigerator collection will debut on April 13th during Milan's Salone Internazionale del Mobile 2016. After the Salone Internzaionale, the refrigerators will be available for purchase via Dolce & Gabbana e-commerce or by contacting Smeg directly.

Good news for Americans who are ready and willing to drop €30,000 or approximately $34,000 on a fridge — a selection of these fridges will be available for purchase in the US, and specific locations where they will be sold are to be determined.
