Ever since Adele released her album cover for 25, the world has waited for the answer to one question, and one question only: "How do I get those eyeeeesssss?!" Though her longtime makeup artist Michael Ashton has explained his process in the past, yesterday he demonstrated it in a helpful video.
In an appearance on popular beauty vlogger and celebrity makeup artist Lisa Eldridge's YouTube page, Ashton (and his adorable New Zealand accent) go through the 20-plus-minute process of recreating Adele's signature beauty look, from the primer to those seemingly unattainable cat eyes.
If you don't have 20 minutes to spare, however, the bullet points are: use gel liner, thicken it way more than you think you need to, and flick the cat eye at a 45-degree angle. The full tutorial, however, is worth wasting your lunch break watching.
