Are the beauty geniuses over at MAC and Glossier on a sugar high? Both brands just announced collections that tangentially involve ice cream, which seems like a no-brainer because 1) pretty pastel colors and 2) who doesn't like ice cream?
Today, MAC announced that it's launching a soft-serve inspired collection that will be online May 26th and available in store June 2nd through July 14th. It's 12 cream eye shadows in shades like pint green, sparkling gold, and light blue.
More daring than pastel eyeshadow: MAC wants your eyebrows to be sorbet shades too. The collection's brow pencils include colors like pastel pink, mint green, and soft lavender.
Meanwhile, Glossier turned its newest lip balm flavors into actual ice cream flavors with the help of NYC's Morgenstern's Finest Ice Cream. Cherry, mint, and rose became scoops of Morgenstern's ice cream in push-pop form.
This being a Glossier collab, of course the packaging is on point. But it tastes good too: Racked NY and Eater NY editors tried the ice cream and deemed it "delicious."
