This Hashtag Celebrates Larger Dudes and the People Who Love Them

An urgent message for those whose taste in men falls towards the "more to love" end of the spectrum: There is now a hashtag that will either drastically improve your day or cause you to do absolutely nothing besides troll Twitter and consequently lose your job. Yesterday, a flurry of big, beefy men started using the hashtag #BigGuyTwitter, dedicated specifically to larger-than-average dudes and the people who love looking at them.

The Daily Dot spoke to #BigGuyTwitter's founder Mike Byrd on why he started the hashtag. "Social media has a bad culture of body shaming," he said, "and I really want individuals to take pride in who they are and love and accept themselves fully."

To kick things off, he tweeted a photo of himself, along with his height and weight:
