Rihanna's Puma creepers, part of her Fenty collaboration with the brand, are coming back for round three today. The brand surprised its followers via Snapchat earlier this month with news of a May 26th re-release of the artist's best-selling suede sneakers.
The new price is $150, and you can expect three brand new color-ways just in time for summer. A white-on-white version is being dubbed "White Glo," and a deep emerald pair with a maroon stripe will be called "Green-Bordeaux." There's even an all-black pair with satin shoelaces Puma is referring to as "Black Satin."
Each of Rih's Puma drops have sold out in the past, including the furry Puma slides she debuted with the brand back in April. And from the looks of Puma's recent sale numbers, their collab is truly making an impact. Puma's footwear and womenswear are dominating in the first quarter of the year — two areas Rihanna was tasked with overhauling in December 2014 when she took over as creative director.
The singer hit up her Instagram account to alert her fans of the new release a few moments ago with the hashtag #3NewWaysToCreep:
There has been no official word on how many of the shoes will be available, but we're expecting this to be a limited release similar to her last two creeper drops. WWD reported that the brand aims to schedule drops of the furry slides, the Fenty sneakers, and the creepers every month.
We've reached out to Puma and will keep you guys updated with any new info.
*Update 5/26/16: A puma rep confirmed via email that if you're in the U.S., Rih's Puma sneakers will be available to purchase at 10 a.m. (EST) and 7 a.m. (PST) on the Puma website and select Puma Stores, Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, and Opening Ceremony.
