The Best Street Style From Fashion Week Australia

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Some of Aussie's best-dressed models, editors, and buyers have congregated in Sydney for the Resort 2017 collections at Fashion Week Australia — offering plenty of fodder for the street style photogs waiting outside.

Over the last few days, we saw everything from bomber jackets (a big outerwear trend this season) to printed dresses and trousers, plus exaggerated long sleeves, silk neck scarves, and cat eye sunglasses. Shoes and handbags were also a hit: the infamous Gucci slides were everywhere, and there were quite a few Chanel and Balenciaga bag sightings these past couple of days — specifically Balenciaga's Pochette and Chanel's classic, quilted ones.

Our photographer captured some of the best style looks Fashion Week Australia had to offer; see them all in our gallery above.
