Anthropologie's figured out a way to make its store experience even more intoxicating: Supersize it. On a call with investors yesterday, the company shared a video showcasing its new large-format stores in Portland, OR and Newport Beach, CA. At 25,800 square feet and 24,200 square feet respectively, these stores are huge.

As Buzzfeed's Sapna Maheshwari put it, that's Container Store size.

The video shows just how massive the Anthro super-stores, which debuted this spring, are. The locations contain a "trend shop," dress shop, intimates boutique, petites selection, full-service shoe and accessories salon, and jewelry store. On the home side, there are 12 fully decorated "rooms," showing vignettes of bedrooms, living rooms, and dining rooms along with a design service center with custom furniture. There's also a full beauty section, with shelves and shelves of products.

Anthropologie's parent company Urban Outfitters is betting big on furniture and lifestyle merchandise for all its brands. Urban Outfitters opened its first home showroom last week in Los Angeles, and this spring, Anthropologie chairman Richard Hayne said on a conference call with investors that home goods might soon account for more Anthro sales at the brand than apparel.

Is a gigantic Anthro store headed to your neighborhood soon? Anthropologie announced in the video that it would soon open large-format stores at Walnut Creek, CA; King of Prussia, PA; Palo Alto; CA; and Westport, CT. The brand also promised even more to come at stores, including items from wedding brand BHLDN, its outdoor shop Terrain, and even potentially Anthro restaurants.
