Kendall and Kylie Jenner Are Still Designing Clothes for PacSun

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Kendall and Kylie Jenner's latest range for PacSun landed this weekend. Between the company filing for bankruptcy and the girls' many other commitments (modeling! A Topshop line! Lip Kits! The girl's namesake contemporary collection!), it's pretty remarkable that the Jenners are still collaborating with the troubled West Coast retailer. But here we are, three years since their initial collection, with a summer iteration.

This season's offering contains more than 60 pieces, all of which reflect that new, moody bohemian festival look. Think fewer flower crowns, more chokers, and lots of cropped peasant tops. Crochet, crochet, crochet. Nothing is over $60. It hit PacSun's website and stores yesterday.

PacSun filed for Chapter 11 in early April, joining a string of other struggling teen retailers that enjoyed their heyday in the early aughts, like Wet Seal and Quicksilver. The company's CEO Gary H. Schoenfeld said in a statement at the time that PacSun planned to overhaul its brand and product. If the collective marketing power of Kendall and Kylie can't save the former mall giant, nothing can save any of us.
