Kate Middleton, five-time winner of the Excellence in Duchessing award, took to the seas today. Before stepping foot on a boat in Portsmouth, England, she wore a oft-repeated nautical look from Alexander McQueen (see it in 2011, along with everything else she's ever worn). She later changed into a jumpsuit that looked something like a NASCAR outfit for water-based activities.
That man who's hand she is shaking there — the one with the chiseled jaw and kind eyes — is Sir Ben Ainslie. Why is he a sir? you might be wondering. It's because he was knighted after winning a whole bunch of Olympic trials for England's sailing team. So today in history, a beautiful princess and a handsome, sporty knight sailed off in a boat.
