It's not quite a Nike x Balmain collaboration, but the vibe isn't all that far off. On Sunday, Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing announced via Instagram that he had a collaboration with NikeLab in the works, and on Monday morning, he unveiled the collection, which taps into the designer's love of all things club-appropriate and glamorous.
The range, which has to be accessed through NikeLab's mobile site, includes men's and women's track pants, tops, and jackets — all done up in shades of black and gray accented with gold zippers, trims, and Nike swishes. ("A luxurious touch," if you consult the product descriptions.) There are four shoe styles as well, including one pretty excellent black and gold pair that extends up the ankle for a "sock-like fit."
For everyday Balmainiacs, the collection goes on sale worldwide on June 2. NikeLab members, however, can pre-order and, if they live in Europe, preview it at select NikeLab stores and NikeLab showrooms in London, Paris, Stockholm, Berlin, and Madrid.
