Zoë Kravitz tagged YSL Beauty in all her Met Gala prep and red carpet Instagrams, and sure enough, today she's been announced as the beauty brand's newest face. YSL Beauty just named the singer, actress, and daughter of Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet as its new US "beauty muse."
Her partnership with YSL Beauty will involve social media campaigns and a forthcoming video called "Before the Light," which will show the moment right before Kravitz hits the stage with her band Lolawolf.
It's more momentum for Kravitz as a campaign star, and a nice follow-up to her spring Balenciaga ads that debuted earlier this year.
Kravitz will join YSL Beauty faces like Cara Delevingne and Edie Campbell. L’Oreal International Designer Collections Division's president Alexandre Choueiri said in a statement:
Zoë is not afraid to stand up for what she believes — we love her confidence and authenticity as much as we admire her kindness, humility and deep respect for individuality. In addition to her incredible talent as an artist, Zoë’s inner and outer beauty truly represents today's modern woman. As a YSL Beauty muse, Zoë represents the brand’s vision of beauty, appealing to women of all ethnicities to become empowered through style and beauty.
