Dior's 2017 cruise show is set to take place in London tomorrow, May 31st, and could quite possibly be the first collection shown by Raf Simon's successor. (Reports are mixed on whether or not this will be definite, with Harper's Bazaar saying yes and Vogue saying it "could be.")
As of today, the fashion house's new creative director hasn't been announced, and everything shown on the runways since Simon's departure in late 2015 has been designed by an in-house team.
The location: Blenheim Palace, which served as the backdrop for Dior two times in the 1950s. It's the principle residence of the Duke of Marlborough, the birthplace of Winston Churchill, and a pretty good place to make a grand reveal.
To prep, Dior has taken over the facade of the historical Scott's London restaurant via elaborately shrubbery, and is opening a one-night-only Lady Dior pub this evening. Stay tuned for more from the show itself.
