Rihanna's Manolo Blahnik chap boots may have sold out in stores for regular people, but when you're J Lo, you get to parade around wearing them in your new music video. Today, she debuted the video for "Ain't Your Mama," a rallying cry with one humble plea: that men can maaaaybe stop acting like idiot babies.
In the video (which includes snippets of speeches by Hillary Clinton, Gloria Steinem, and Patricia Arquette at the Oscars), J Lo puts on her acting hat, transforming into various stereotypes of overworked women, from news anchor to retro housewife, secretary, businesswoman, and factory worker. Finally, real-life J Lo appears, doing what real-life J Lo does best, i.e. dance in large choreographed group routines.
It's during this last segment where she debuts the instantly recognizable "9-to-5" chap boots from Rihanna's collaboration with Manolo Blahnik. Though they cost $4,350 (and when you go to the store to try them on, an employee will ask you to please take them off, thanks), you can watch them dance in the video below.
