Makeup artist Pat McGrath’s latest product, Skin Fetish 003, had quite the dramatic launch last month. An overflow of shoppers crashed McGrath's website, and the resulting Twitter backlash inspired McGrath to re-do the launch that afternoon.
But there's still another chance to shop the $72 set, which comes with a dual-ended "Shiny Stick" highlighter and balm duo, a buffer brush, and incandescent pigment. If you live in New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Miami, or Houston, you can skip the online drama and pick up Skin Fetish 003 tomorrow in real life at Sephora. The highlighter kit will launch at Sephora both online and in seven stores on Tuesday, May 10th.
As for the exact timing, a Pat McGrath press rep told Racked that the online Sephora.com launch will happen at "probably 12:01am" on May 10th. For those shopping in stores, the release time is whenever the stores open. Update: The rep now says the online launch is today at 9PST/noon EST. Update #2: It's live right now, at 11:55am EST!
And it might be worth compiling a strategy if you really want to get your hands on the coveted highighter. The press release reads: "Since these products are coming straight from the labs as soon as they are available, the run is limited edition. Once it sells out it’s gone forever." No pressure or anything.
Here's a list of which Sephora stores will carry Skin Fetish 003:
San Francisco: Powell Street store
Las Vegas: Caesar’s Palace store
Houston: Houston Galleria store
Miami: Aventura store
