Is it really a collaboration if a brand takes one of their classic items, and makes it for a chain store, but cheaper? That appears to be what's going on with Target's latest designer collection, made in partnership with Superga. The line features a nearly identical version of the Italian company's iconic white sneaker for less than half the price of the original shoe. (Hey, we're not complaining — we'll take it.)

Compare the Superga x Target white canvas sneakers (which hit Target's website today) and the Superga 2750 Cotu Classic sneaker below. Can you tell which is which?

The $29.99 Target shoe is on the left and the classic, $65 Superga sneaker is on the right. The sole and stitching are ever so slightly different, and perhaps the Target version looks a bit more Keds-like, but other than that the shoes are pretty much carbon copies. For those of you who have trouble keeping white sneakers clean, take the chance to score a fresh pair for much less.

While the shoes aren't slated to hit stores until Sunday, June 26, you can shop the full Superga for Target collection — which includes additional styles and colors like high-tops ($34.99) and an American flag print ($29.99) — on Target's website right now.
