Earlier today, Kate Middleton attended a charity gala dinner at Houghton Hall in King’s Lynn, England wearing a dress we’ve seen her in before. That part isn’t particularly surprising; after all, the Duchess of Cambridge is famous for wearing her favorite shoes, coats, and day dresses multiple times. What is surprising, however, is how incredibly fancy this particular dress is.
Heavily sequined and studded with Swarovski crystals, the blush-colored Jenny Packham gown (from the designer’s spring 2011 collection) originally retailed for $5,015 and is one of a few instantly-iconic evening looks the royal’s worn over the years — the lilac Alexander McQueen she wore to the BAFTA Brits to Watch event in 2011 and the teal Jenny Packham she chose for a London Olympic concert the following year also come to mind. She last wore this Packham design in 2011 for an ARK gala dinner, in her first formal appearance since her wedding to Prince William.
Leave it to Kate to make repeating such a memorable outfit look this glamorous.
