The gaming and sneaker world have collided today with the launch of Vans's new collaboration with Nintendo. The throwback collection for men, women, and children includes everything from sneakers and bags, to T-shirts, socks, and hats decked out in an assortment of prints designed to showcase your favorite Nintendo characters.
We're talking Donkey Kong, Super Mario Bros., and Legend of Zelda printed on everything. Even the boxes the shoes come in are decked out in Nintendo-themed prints:

There's also an assortment of designs inspired by Nintendo's first gaming console. If you head on over to the Vans website right now you'll find a wide range of these prints on four variations of Vans's classic silhouettes: the lace-free, the slip-on, the side-striped SK8-Hi, and the Old Skool.
Prices currently range from about $10 for a pair of Nintendo-themed socks to about $75 for some of the Sk8-Hi shoes. The Vans x Nintendo "Game Over" hoodies and sweatshirts will cost you around $50.
But the collection hasn't gone without criticism, mostly from people on Twitter. People don't seem too happy that the the Nintendo Authentic low tops in the vibrantly pink Princess Peach print only go up to a size 10 in men and 11.5 in women's, while other print variations of the same sneaker — the Super Mario Bros. in tie-dye, the Duck Hunt in camo, and the Donkey Kong in black — go up to a size 16.

.@VANS_66 Not making larger sizes for *only* the peach vans you just released is blatant sexism, what the fuck is wrong with you

@vans_66 why the hell are the princess peach vans not available in any sizes bigger than 10 mens / 11.5 womens

@VANS_66 Why don't you offer the new Nintendo Princess Peach shoes in all of the larger sizes? :(
— Chinook Olive (@ChinookOlive) June 3, 2016
@VANS_66 hey Vans, why no Princess Peach sizes above 11? Some ladies I know have larger feet and are really dismayed.

@VANS_66 for the Nintendo Collection, are the Princess Peach shoes ever gonna be a bigger man's size than 10?

In fact, the Princess Peach print seems to be the most popular among men and women. Get on top of that, Vans. You can shop the entire collection in Vans stores and online here.
