Youthful skin glows amongst candlelit flower centerpieces, designer bibs are readjusted for the umpteenth time, somebody flings mash potatoes in Dakota Fanning's general direction. "Don't tell Karl-slash-dad," you hear someone whisper. It's the kid's table at Chanel's annual fine jewelry dinner.
Last night, Dakota, Amandla Stenberg, Rainey Qualley (daughter of Andie MacDowell), and many more young Hollywood perma-teens gathered at New York Public Library to eat and drink juice in honor of Chanel's most precious jewels. In reality, there was no sectioned-off table for the youngs, but instead one very long table peppered with a ton of '90s babies. Still, it's fun to think Karl grouped some very elegant kids together, while — shhhh — the adults were talking about boring grown-up stuff elsewhere.
