The Adidas Originals store is not where you last left it. New Yorkers who have become familiar with hitting up the garage-front store in Soho will need to retrain their Stan Smiths to walk over to 115 Spring Street, the address the casual offshoot of the activewear brand is calling home as of this week.
More than 2,500 square feet leaves plenty of room for a sneaker wall, clothing that blurs gender distinctions (including a collaboration with Rita Ora), and accessories like backpacks.
A basement level is dedicated to installations and special events; right now, you’ll find a display from rapper and Mr. Robot star Joey Bada$$ and his Pro Era crew on the intersection of music, fashion, and New York City, a version of which you can take home for yourself in ‘zine form.
Not in Manhattan to check out the new space? Take a look for yourself below:
We're live at the opening of the new adidas Originals store in Soho!
