As part of our new series on the best stores in the world, Shilpa Shah, co-founder of San Francisco-based women’s lifestyle brand Cuyana, shares one of her favorite places to shop.
I love Tortoise General Store in LA. It's on Abbot Kinney, a few blocks down from Cuyana. It has incredible housewares and small goods from Japan, ranging from stationery to skincare. The store is split in two halves and in the back half is an amazing display of porcelain and ceramics. It's so beautiful, peaceful, and serene.
