What you’ll be wearing on your wedding day often comes top of mind ahead of any other planning the day may require. (Because for all intents and purposes, this is one of few days in your life designed for everyone you know to look at, take pictures of, and compliment you — and your dress.)

But because life is not a 30-minute episode of Say Yes to the Dress, the reality of the situation is that there are a million other wedding-related expenses that can and will add up. For many, spending three times your rent on something you’ll probably only wear once is much more daunting than exciting.

Luckily for anyone getting hitched on a budget, there are more options than ever before. Small indie shops and mainstream online retailers like Shopbop and Revolve are increasingly catering to bridal customers, in many cases with affordable options that ring in well under a grand.

If that sounds too good to be true, we’ve rounded up 14 dresses that fit the bill — starting as low as under $200.
