If you saw the bags that marched down Dior’s spring 2017 runway show last September and thought “Better start saving up!” some urgent news: You do not, in fact, need to save up, because what are essentially those exact same bags are on super sale right now.
As the first collection headed by the brand’s new creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri, much of the attention focused on Chiuri’s reinvention of the iconic Dior logo, such as the sans serif, all-capped “CHRISTIAN DIOR” on underwear waistbands and bra straps. There were also the gorgeous “J’adore Dior” kitten heels, as well as the tall Dior logo that doubles as a hand strap.
But among these innovations, there were also handbags that looked exactly like the ones Dior has sold for decades — and as it just so happens, you can get some of those decades-old handbags for surely a far more affordable price than the spring 2017 bags.
For instance, here’s a Dior Diorissimo canvas shoulder bag on sale at The Real Real for $80.50:
And here’s a mini saddle bag for just $66.50:
And a tote for $145, plus 20% off with the code NEW:
There are even more on the site right now, if you’re simultaneously suffering from designer lust and the Friday spendies.
