I wouldn’t necessarily call myself a belt person, but I am, however, trying to branch out a bit when it comes to accessories. When it comes to belts, I want something that’s tasteful and also in sync with my personal style. On my quest — in Stein Mart, of all places — I found a belt that speaks to my southwestern wanderlust.
This plain black belt has a reversible side that can be flipped by turning the two metal pieces that sit at the hips, revealing a brown crocodile-like pattern. My favorite part are the details, especially the buckle’s Victorian oval framing. The best part: You can capture the essence of a free-spirited rancher without looking like a state fair champion.
