It’s a long story, but I have a pet snail, and therefore my friends now know to send me any and all snail-related content.
Sometimes that snail-related content also involves noted longtime crush Dev Patel hanging out with a small child (Sunny Pawar, his costar in Lion) on the Golden Globes red carpet:
Oh, you thought Dev Patel peaked with being hot, talented, and good with tiny children? He also wears snail socks. pic.twitter.com/JOP6mYm0x5

So this is a call to the masses: Where can I get these socks? They look like Jimmy Lion; but while the brand is offering a vast array of pineapple, bear, and lobster socks, there is not a diminutive spiral-shelled mollusk among them. These are cute but the amount of snail-per-square-inch is lacking. These are currently sold out. I love Dev’s particular pair because they are true to what a snail actually looks like (none of this cartoon bullshit); they are playful yet maintain a sense of dignity.
This is also a call to Dev Patel, who probably would have this information and even if he doesn’t I don’t really care, just look at that smile, ughhhhh.
