A few weeks ago, Madewell announced that it would officially launch a beauty department called The Beauty Cabinet in 21 of its stores across the country and online. As of this morning, it’s now live and shoppable.
Right now, The Beauty Cabinet is a relatively tight collection of 40 products, featuring natural-skewing indie brands like Herbivore, French Girl, and Ursa Major. Madewell asked its employees for input on products they love; five of these employees are also featured in the campaign you’ll see in stores and online featuring the new beauty department. In case you’re not familiar with some of the brands, here are our recommendations for what to check out while you’re shopping the retailers’s cute fall collection. Should you want to see it in person, we’ve included a full list of retail locations below as well.
RMS Living Luminizer, $38: Before the strobing craze took over, there was this subtle cream highlighter for a perfect amount of glow that doesn’t look like you’ve been glazed like a pastry.
Olio e Osso Lip and Cheek Balm, $28: This is a great no-makeup makeup staple, especially if you want something to toss in a bag and take with you.
Herbivore Brighten Instant Glow Mask, $48: This exfoliating mask, which contains tourmaline, rice powder, and fruit extracts, provides a satisfying tingle.
Madewell x French Girl Lumière Body Oil, $36: This body oil provides a very subtle sheen when you apply it.
