Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Outerwear brand The Arrivals is probably best known for making really good (albeit quite expensive) leather jackets, but the company makes more than that. There are also wool coats, sweatshirts, and parkas — and now, puffers.
The label releases new styles in drops, and the latest just hit the site today. It includes a unisex down puffer jacket made of water-resistant nylon for $395, plus a longer version in the same material for $495. (The jacket comes in black and a dark dusty pink; the coat only comes in black). The draws: Neither will obscure your entire body (though if that’s what you’re after, you can certainly size up), and the price point is pretty good for down.
Don’t need something that serious? Today’s drop also includes a new bomber, two parkas, gloves, a scarf, and a beanie.
