There comes a time when you just have to retire that ratty old backpack or gym bag you’ve used as your go-to travel bag since college. And since you probably should’ve done this a long time ago (I’m talking to myself here), there’s no better time to upgrade than right now, whether you’re headed home for the holidays or just skipping town for a long weekend.
The ideal weekend travel bag shouldn’t be big or clunky (you don’t want it to weigh you down before you put anything inside), but it should be roomy enough to bring along at least one extra pair of shoes. It should be sturdy enough that you won’t have to be delicate with it, but cute and sleek enough that you’ll actually like carrying it around.
I’ve pulled together a handful of bags that meet the mark, starting at $68. Whether you like something colorful and patterned or lean toward a more minimal design, any of these sleek bags will get you where you need to go and make you look a whole lot more put-together while doing it.
