Is This a Thing: Sleeping Bag Pants?

Or, so far past caring even pretending to care requires too much effort?

Today at Tonsure’s runway show at Copenhagen Fashion Week, there was this model who must have not heard the Beyoncé news, because he very clearly doesn’t care about anything. Is this a thing?

Here is a man wearing what, in my ideal world, is my errands-running outfit. Pretty sure he literally just bought two children’s sleeping bags ($29.99) and fastened them together to create pants. I can’t think of anything more comfortable and warm to wear in a world that is so harsh and frigid.

On any other day, I would have said yes, yes, a thousand times yes, this is a thing. But today I reject this. Only because we heard the blessed news from Beyoncé, “entertainment superstar,” that she’s pregnant. And not just pregnant, but pregnant WITH TWINS. There’s still reason to care, meaning there’s still reason to not just give up completely and wear what, again, is just two sleeping bags sewn together to create what appear to be pants.
