The general goal throughout Fashion Week is to keep tabs on everything you see on the runway, so you can make the call on what will be trending six months from now. But as this year’s New York run comes to a close, there’s one off-the-runway trend we’re going to put to work right now: ‘60s style white boots.

Mod boots of all colors, including white, have been making the rounds since earlier this fall, but this past week may have upgraded the look from trend to staple. Editors and models alike were spotted in white boots on what felt like every city block.

The retro style is a cute, unexpected way to shake up the boring palette of black and browns until its warm enough to reach for our colorful sandals. But the best part about investing in a pair right now is definitely the fact that won’t have to put them away with the rest of your winter shoes; this color works year round.

Check out our favorite pairs available right now below.
