The New Uniqlo U Collection Is Honestly Great

Uniqlo’s latest collection with former Hermès designer Christophe Lemaire launched today. Uniqlo U is a set of “progressive essentials” for both men and women, which, essentially, translates to “everyday clothes that are a little cooler than other everyday clothes.”

This is Lemaire's second collection for Uniqlo as the brand's artistic director (the first came out last fall; before moving in-house, Lemaire had produced two other collaborations with Uniqlo). For women, the collection includes rich rust and red colors, as well as olive, pale pink, and dark denim. The men’s line is a bit more somber, with grays, that olive, brown, and some pops of blue.
