Despite (or perhaps because of) chain retailers like Nordstrom and Burlington dropping Ivanka Trump’s clothing and accessories line from their stores and websites, the first daughter’s namesake brand has gotten a boost in sales elsewhere: Amazon, where the Ivanka Trump perfume is currently the best-selling women’s fragrance.

Townhall, a conservative news site, wrote about the perfume’s leap to the top of the pile on Thursday, and as of Friday morning, it was still up there, followed by an aromatherapy set and the cheaper rollerball version of the Ivanka Trump scent.

Some, though not all, recent reviewers said they purchased the perfume in a show of support for the Trump family. With the #GrabYourWallet campaign encouraging consumers to boycott companies with ties to the Trump family and retailers proceeding to drop the Trump brands as a result, some Trump supporters have waged their own counter-boycotts of the stores that have backed away from Trump products, as well as gone out of their way to buy those goods where they can.

On Wednesday, Amazon reviewer fortunecookie wrote of Ivanka Trump’s perfume “I bought this perfume in support of Ivanka Trump. I had no idea how it smelled. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised and I LOVE it!!”

“I have purchased & will continue to purchase Ivanka Trump items! They're beautiful & timeless & I love the quality put into them! I really like a soft fragrance, not the kind that comes into a room before you do! The perk of this scent is that it's a liberal repellent as well!!!! Yay!!!! ” wrote a reviewer named D. Holton.

“I love this scent and happily showed my support by purchasing this perfume. Just wish I can fit into her gorgeous clothing line,” wrote Young1.

The Ivanka Trump perfume line is licensed to and produced by Perfumania Holdings Inc., the same company that makes Rihanna, Jay Z, and Pitbull’s celebrity fragrances. While it’s not the most well-known Ivanka Trump product, it does have the advantage of being a comparatively affordable one: A bottle costs $36.38 on Amazon and a roll-on version just $15, versus $83.20 for a dress or $275 for a bag, high prices shoppers have taken issue with.

If Trump supporters want to throw their money behind the family’s brands, this is a relatively accessible way to do it. The small glass bottles are just the latest product caught up in a cycle of backlash (and backlash-to-the-backlash), in which shoppers on all points of the political spectrum are grabbing their wallets.
