The Oscars represent the grand finale of the entire awards season — and at Sunday's 89th Academy Awards, all eyes are on La La Land, which was up for a whopping 14 honors. (To put that into perspective, if the Damien Chazelle-directed hit wins at least 12 of those statuettes, it'll break the record set by Titanic in 1998.)Even if you're not particularly into musicals, however, there are plenty of reasons to tune in: Last year's acting winners Brie Larson and Leonardo DiCaprio will be on hand to present, as will Halle Berry and SNL favorite Kate McKinnon, among others. There'll also be musical performances by Justin Timberlake (singing, you guessed it, that Trolls song you're really sick of), Lin-Manuel Miranda, and John Legend. It's Jimmy Kimmel's first time hosting the show, following in the footsteps of Ellen DeGeneres, Neil Patrick Harris, and the always-reliable Billy Crystal.
Of course, we are most excited to see what this year's most stylish nominees (like Emma Stone, Ruth Negga, Michelle Williams, and Ryan Gosling) wear on the red carpet, and fully expect them to pull out all the sartorial stops. As for which star(s) will get the honor of modeling Riccardo Tisci's final couture creations for Givenchy or tie black satin ribbons around their necks and chignons, well, that's anyone's guess.
