Every morning before I get in the shower, I have a will-I-or-won’t-I moment in regards to washing my hair. My decision is always based on the condition of my hair that day — mostly, whether the ponytail or bun I slept in last night left a big crease in my hair.

The Sephora checkout line, where I do most of my shopping, has Invisibobbles right near all the other stuff I buy that I don’t need (rollerballs, travel-sized dry shampoo, et cetera, et cetera). Basically, they’re these curly telephone cord-style hair ties that don’t leave any marks in your hair. It’s kind of like magic, I guess!

They come in a pack of three; I personally bought the gold ones because they were the closest thing to brown, but you can buy the blue or pink ones if that’s your thing. Honestly, they’re a little weird-looking, but I’ll pretty much put anything in my hair if it means sleeping an extra 20 minutes in the morning.
