At the premiere of Netflix’s new Selena Gomez-produced series 13 Reasons Why, the pop star-turned-entertainment entrepreneur showed up dressed like a glamorous clementine. (I swear I’m not looking for more excuses to compare celebrities to stylish fruit — this just keeps happening!)
Gomez wore shades of orange from head to, well, knee, starting with a dusting of copper eyeshadow across her lids. Her stylist, Kate Young, dressed her in a metallic bubble-shaped orange mini dress from Oscar de la Renta’s fall 2017 collection, pairing it with pink velvet Giuseppe Zanotti Design mules.
But it was Gomez’s tutti-frutti jewelry that truly stole the show. She wore Rebecca de Ravenel’s Chiquita statement earrings, which each feature six hollow, hand-embroidered orbs. And at $345 per pair, they were arguably the most affordable part of Gomez’s look (unless you count her matching eyeshadow and cobalt nail polish, of course).
Gomez has always had great earring game — remember the super-sized gold Jennifer Fisher hoops she wore for “Carpool Karaoke,” and the diamond Cartier danglers she wore to last year’s AMAs? — but these are in a league of their own. Shop Gomez’s look below!
