Chances are you’ve been wearing graphic T-shirts since before you had any say in what you were wearing. It’s a safe bet that you’re still wearing them, too, because they’re fun and easy to pull off.
If you’re really into letting people know that you’re a feminist, or that you would stand outside in the cold for hours just for rare merch, graphic tees are a low-lift way to add a little personality to that jeans-and-T-shirt outfit you reach for twice a week. Beyond that, they look even better when paired with a midi skirt or a pair of fancy pants if you’re trying to mix things up.
The only real downfall here is how hard it can be to find options that aren’t painfully corny. Shirts emblazoned with brunch or rosé puns (or worse, ones that use “adult” as a verb) are a dime a dozen these days, as are options that run your feminism back nearly a month’s rent. So we did some digging for you: Here, you’ll find eight of our favorite graphic T-shirts right now that say none of those things (!), from shops like Zara and indie brands like Collina Strada.
