There are few products as beloved as Nars’ Orgasm blush. The coral pink color flecked with gold shimmer is one of the few beauty products truly worthy of the too-overused word “iconic.” Nars knows this, and every so often it will release a new or limited-edition product in the shade to get people excited about it again.
As of today, you can now get Orgasm in lipstick ($28) and liquid blush ($30) form, as well as a limited-edition compact containing the original blush formula ($30).
While Orgasm currently exists as a lip gloss, this is the first time it’s been rendered into a lipstick, although technically you can use the Orgasm Multiple Stick on your whole face. The color is fairly sheer and skews a little bit frosty/metallic, but it’s a perfect summer shade.
What’s really exciting here is the liquid blush — a whole new category for Nars. The watery formula comes in a small pump bottle, and you only need a drop per cheek. There are four shades: Orgasm, Torrid (a warmer version of Orgasm), Luster (apricot), and Dolce Vita (matte dusty rose). It’s basically the equivalent of a lip stain; a beautiful wash of color that you can build or mix with other blush textures, like powders and creams. They debut today at Nars boutiques and on June 1st at Sephora.
