There’s a chance you’ve already stumbled on Valfré’s cartoon-like phone cases, kitschy pins, or Instagram Doodles that have steadily been gaining buzz since 2013, when the brand was founded by Mexican-born artist Ilse Valfré. But whether or not you’re familiar, we’re here to let you know that the label’s clothes are just as good (if not better) than the art and accessories, and they are not to be slept on.
Valfre’s latest collection, Sunday Girl, is solid proof of that fact. The LA-based brand keeps to its playful, vintage-inspired rep with cheeky graphic tees, like this “No Hard Feelings” top ($42), and bold one-pieces, including a baby-pink jumpsuit ($92) and this disco-ready mesh dress ($78). It also feels extremely necessary to call out this Carmen Romper ($64), which screams That ’70s Show just as much as it does “summer’s coming!”
The total collection consists of 14 items, with the most expensive piece ringing in at $98. And considering that it’s a limited-edition pink denim jacket with original artwork by Valfré on the back, that’s not a bad deal. You can shop the collection as well as a bunch of other graphic tees, retro jumpsuits, and dresses at Valfre.com (and if you give over your e-mail address, you’ll get 20% off your first order).
