Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

If you read Racked regularly, then you know that the past few weeks have seen some of the best sales we’ve covered all year. In mid-summer, it seems like literally everything gets discounted; some retailers (like Net-a-Porter) are unloading the old stuff to make room for fall and winter items, while others (like Nordstrom) are even putting the brand-new stuff on sale.

It’s always exciting when you snag a good deal on something you can use right away, like a cute bikini or one-piece. But it’s arguably much better to find a deal on something you can wear right away but also need year-round, like the perfect black leather tote or your favorite brand of jeans.

While scoping the sales for our weekly roundups, we noticed that a bunch of denim brands in particular are available for a fraction of their regular prices. We rounded up two dozen of the best pairs available in every style on sale right now, from skinny jeans to denim culottes, by some of our favorite denim brands. Check them out below.
