Baggu has been around for a while now — since 2007, to be exact — and has remained a reliable place to find cool, simple, sturdy bags for relatively cheap. (See: actually cute, durable totes for $15.) So while I wasn’t surprised to see that the brand’s fall collection is good, I was honestly pretty surprised to see just how good it is.
The collection launched online earlier this week along with a really cute lookbook, showing off what I'd argue is the ideal fall drop: autumn colors (rust! muted pink! forest green!), of-the-moment silhouettes like those circle and cylinder bags, and fresh patterns and prints that range from pinstripes to a playful strawberry design.
Whether you're headed back to school or just want something new to hold all of your crap for your commute, just about every kind of bag you could want is included in the new drop. You'll find a bunch of different backpack styles, plenty of laptop-ready totes, weekender bags, crossbody styles, wallets, and more in canvas, suede, leather, and mesh. There's even an extremely Balenciaga-esque XL-square duffle bag for about a million dollars less at $68.
Still, the best thing about all this is the fact that everything in the new collection ranges from $8 to $280, with a majority of the products ringing in well under $70 — so you can have your well-designed, unfussy, un-branded bag and get a deal, too.
Check out our favorite pieces above and below, and shop the full collection on Baggu's web store (or IRL if you're in New York or San Fransisco).
