Perhaps you’ve seen these cute little ads floating around the internet, or what’s essentially a movie trailer advertising Amazon Prime Day. And maybe you thought to yourself: What is Amazon Prime Day, exactly? And: Should I give a shit?
If you like shopping, we’d say at least pay attention to the deals page when it populates next week at 9 p.m. EST on Monday, July 10th. That’s when Prime members will be able to shop hundreds of different sales over a span of 30 hours, with new ones launching every five minutes. (Technically, Prime Day is the 11th, but sales start the night before.) Amazon hasn’t released what those deals will be just yet, so you’ll just have to sit tight until Monday evening.
So, should you care? We recommend bookmarking this page so you can parse through what’s on offer. The discounts will span across all Amazon categories — tech, home, clothing, music, beauty, you name it. So once it all starts, we’ll be rounding up some of the stuff that’s actually worth buying.
In the meantime, you can sign up for a free trial of Amazon Prime if you don’t already have an account — you won’t be able to access any of the deals otherwise.
