I'm a hard sell when it comes to graphic T-shirts for the very simple reason that the phrases scrawled across them are almost always painfully embarrassing — whether or not I'm the one wearing them. They can get corny really fast (brunch! SoulCycle puns!) and problematic even faster (normalizing alcoholism c/o rosé!), so I've accepted the fact that they're more of a thing for adults who still have their sorority chapter in their Instagram bio, and not for me.
I feel so strongly about this that I was honestly a bit surprised by how much I don’t hate Richer Poorer's Summer Care Kit ($38) collaboration with skincare brand Origins, which includes a heather gray T-shirt that reads "I'd rather be masking" in red embroidery over the breast pocket. More than not hating it, I actually like it.

This most likely is because the shirt isn't noisy or obnoxious, looking pretty identical to Richer Poorer's other witty, not-embarrassing graphic T-shirts featuring small embroidered lettering. It's made with the same T-shirt as well — an ultra-comfy cotton crewneck made in LA. (I've become partial to wearing my plain white version over any other T-shirt.)
Or it could be the fact that I actually do enjoy masking, and this kit comes with Origins’ mini mask duo, too. Along with your wholesome, skincare-positive shirt, you'll get travel sizes of both the Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask and the Clear Improvement Charcoal Mask, two of the brand’s most popular masks. Considering that Origins recommends you use these both once a week, these mini bottles will last you at least a month.
I can see this as a great gift for friends, bridesmaids — and potentially for myself, if anyone is feeling generous.
