I’m a really big fan of clothes that help me look less tired and more put-together than I really am. I’m an even bigger fan of clothes that I can wear through multiple seasons, which is why I've grown partial to oversized blazers.

A blazer inherently says you’ve got your shit together; when it’s a touch oversized, the silhouette communicates the same thing without coming across as stuffy. It’s an awesome styling trick because it instantly polishes up whatever else you’ve got going on.

Since it’s still summer, try throwing one over a crop top and high-waisted trousers, or a T-shirt and a pair of cut-off shorts. When the weather cools down, swap in your favorite pair of jeans and you’re good to go.

It would weigh heavily on my conscience if I didn’t mention that you can easily score one of these in just about any thrift or vintage store for less than $20. But if you're like me and don’t have the patience to sift through racks and piles, I’ve rounded up some of my favorites available online below. Whether you’re more in the market for something solid and simple, or loud and all-over floral, these blazers will invite outfit compliments on your laziest days.
