Fifth Harmony’s Lauren Jauregui, Normani Kordei, Ally Brooke, and Dinah Jane have been in nonstop promotional mode for their new self-titled album for the past several months. But despite their busy schedules, 5H always makes time for a little retail therapy while on the road.
Fresh off a trip to Tokyo, the band hosted a Reebok x NYFW Fit to Fashion workout at Gotham Gym last week, and I caught up with them in the locker room afterwards to discuss their recent hauls; read on to learn about what they bought abroad.
Lauren Jauregui: We were just in Japan, and I bought myself a lot of things. I found a pair of patent leather boots at Lily Brown that were so cute, I had to get them in two colors; I bought them in black and in white. I also got a baby blue purse.

Normani Kordei: We don’t often get the chance to treat ourselves and go shopping, so when I do, I tend to really splurge! So I got some Gucci shoes — they’re black pumps with these bows that go around the ankle, but you have the choice of wearing them either around the ankle or over the foot. They’re convertible!
I also got some Christian Louboutin classic pumps in both red and blue. But they are really painful; they’re so cute, but they hurt!
LJ: I tried those on when Elvis [Duran] took us shoe shopping, and I said, “Never. They’re awful.” I don’t get it!
NK: They’re made to sit in the box, like art.
LJ: [Exaggerated fancy-lady accent] “It’s art, dahhhling, fashion is art. And you must die for it!” [Laughs] No, I’m totally joking.
Ally Brooke: When we went to this mall in Tokyo, I found a gorgeous dress that had all these beautiful different fabrics woven together and came with this sort of decorative yellow belt. It was such a unique piece and really reminded me of Tokyo style. So I got that, and then I also got this hat from Lily Brown, which I actually posted on Instagram and put in my Instagram Stories...
LJ: That hat is now famous, by the way. It basically went viral.
AB: Did it really?! [Laughs] Well, there you go! It’s so cute; I bought it because it kind of reminded me of the ’40s.
Dinah Jane: I definitely did some shopping in Tokyo — but before we went, I went on a search for the perfect tracksuit. I went to Victoria’s Secret and just splurged my life away; I got, like, eight tracksuits, all the pajamas, a ton of bras and underwear. I had to pack some cute stuff for our trip!
Here’s Why All Girl Groups Dress the SameWhether you're a TLC or The Spice Girls fan, there's no denying their music was as epic as their style.
